About The Role

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve WHS and environmental performance of Property Services
  • Identify risks and appropriate mitigation strategies and communicate to Executive Property Manager for inclusion in Unit’s risk matrix.
  • Undertake audits and assurance reviews on internal projects, processes, systems and procedures.
  • Undertake audits and assurance reviews on the performance of facilities and property services provider to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and environmental standards and drive completion of resulting actions.
  • Support the implementation of the WHS and Environmental management systems with the dissemination of lessons learned back to system owners.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement processes and undertake reviews to ensure high quality practices are achieved.
  • Provide expert advice on the WHS performance of the outsourced property service provider/s in terms of the management and compliance with WHS contract requirements.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S or related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment.
  • Certificate IV in WH&S or ability to obtain the certificate.
  • Current driver license and ability and willingness to travel.
  • May involve travel both locally and regionally, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed.
  • Demonstrated experience in WH&S and an understanding of current legislation, policy and obligations.
  • Return to work experience.
